Illusions of romance...

the bitterness of my heart set aside, i still long for someone to love
so i’ve accepted the fact that i probably will never marry
but somehow that still doesn’t take away the ache
oh how many times have i seen a beautiful sight
and wanted to say, hey look at that!
but there is no one there
words cannot retell what i’ve seen
so i keep my experience to myself
and it dies
